Registration
Students are allowed to trial a class before registering. Contact our office staff to schedule a trial class day before registering.
A $30.00 registration fee will be due at the time of enrollment. The $30.00 non-refundable registration fee and signed release and waiver must accompany the registration form and is used to secure your spot in the class. Registration fees are good until the next registration date of the following year.
Students MUST be registered in each class they participate in. Parents should check this information within the Parent Portal.
Ensuring students are registered in the appropriate classes helps our staff with ordering costumes and sending information class specific communication out to parents.
Students must be enrolled no later than February 1st to participate in the end of year recital.
Exclusive Enrollment: All dancers enrolled are required to commit exclusively to our studio for the duration of their training. This means that dancers may not be simultaneously enrolled in any other dance studio.
FAQ
-
When is the end of year recital and is it required?
DreamWeavers’ recital falls on the first Saturday in June annually. Dancers are not required to participate but are highly encouraged to.
All accounts must be paid in full before your child(ren) can participate in the recital.
-
How do I order my child's costume?
Students must be enrolled no later than February 1st to ensure costumes will arrive before recital.
DreamWeavers staff will order costumes for all recital participants based on the student’s Jackrabbit enrollment. Parents are responsible for ensuring their online enrollment matches the classes they are attending.
Tap/Jazz/Ballet Combo classes for ages 3-7 will perform two (2) numbers in recital, but will only have one (1) costume for both routines.
Recital costume deposits are due in November and the remaining costume balance will be due in February. All fees will be posted in the Parent Portal.
Costumes will be sent home with families in May before picture day.
-
Will my dancer receive a trophy at the end of the year?
Towards the end of the year, we will host a trophy handout ceremony where dancers are awarded trophies and thanked for their years of attendance as members of the DreamWeavers family.
You may only receive perfect attendance at the end of the season, if you have been registered by October 1st and have not missed ANY classes. There will NOT be a make up option for classes to receive perfect attendance. Perfect attendance is counted for each class (ex. If your child is in 5 classes, but has perfect attendance in one, they may still receive a medal at the end of the season).
-
How do I drop a class?
In order to avoid late fees and charges you must drop classes before the 1st of the month by visiting the front desk. If you do not drop classes before the 1st of the month, you will continue to be charged monthly tuition as you are ultimately paying for a spot in a class of instruction that otherwise could have been filled with another student.
If you owe any amount after dropping, the card on file will be automatically charged (whether it is on auto-pay or not). If you drop between the first and the 10th of a month (before tuition is due), you will only be charged for the classes that occurred during this time (you will still be charged even if your child did not attend since you are paying for the spot in the class).
If you drop between the first and the 10th of a month, you acknowledge that your card on file will automatically be charged the balance (the amount of classes that occurred during that time whether it is on auto-pay or not).
Failing to show to a class does not constitute canceling or dropping the class.
